I Love Marks and Spencers! I always see loads of great things there, I'm a big fan for basics....
My latest find is this little black dress...
It's very well made, great wool fabric (with net skirt underneath) suitable for day and evening, short, but not too short to wear with tights, great pleated details, nice neckline - all in all perfect - and only £39.50 (shame it's not made in the UK anymore, my only complaint, Personally I would happily pay more if it was)
Plus it can fit a scoop neck uniqlo heat tech top under (see Sharon Rose's post on Uniqlo)- very important in this cold snap! You can also eat well in it, as it isn't tight across the stomach, plenty of room for Christmas meals!
(I hate the photos on Marks & Sparks website, they don't show the clothes very well, this one is better than some, most photos are terrible in my humble opinion)

ReplyDeleteYou're not wrong about the M&S photos - they're not great, they tend to make things look a bit frumpy, which is a shame because often they're not!
